Usucha (usucha) is the name of one of the types of matcha tea. It refers to the so-called thin (weak) way of preparing tea served in a tea ceremony.
In this method of administration, the matcha is dissolved in a larger amount of water. This makes the tea served wetter and sweeter.
You will also use less tea powder, about 2 to 4 grams. The tea is poured over 70 ml of hot water. The water temperature for pouring should not exceed 70 °C.
Stir with a vigorous motion, describing an imaginary letter M.
This is primarily used to prepare premium teas that provide a balanced balance of bitter and sweet flavours. The resulting tea is delicate and should develop a foam on the surface.
